Atlanta-based sculptor Chad Await, a third-generation woodcarver who works in holly, lindenwood, mulberry, sycamore, and white oak is one of two artists featured at Gallery One from January 7 through February 12. This work in lindenwood is titled 'Lyra.' A reception for Await and painter Suzy Scarborough, of Columbia, S.C. will be held Saturday, January 7 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the gallery located in the Belle Meade Galleria, 5133 Harding Pike.
